Our family enjoys cats enormously as their presence brings tranquility, peace, mystery, wonder and fun to a home. Thus we have had cats at home for the last forty years.
Our love of cats directed us to fostering for the Toronto Humane Society and Meow Foundation in Calgary where we attained a great amount of experience caring for abandoned kittens and pregnant mothers.
A short few years ago we were introduced to the Scottish Fold breed and found ourselves quite taken by their intriguing look and personality: the round face, huge eyes, somewhat surprised-looking expression, tiny ears, and compact body that gives them their sweet look is simply marvelous; their mellow personality , sweet temper, devote but not demanding, playful but never boisterous way made them the perfect cat!
We quickly bought our first Scottish Fold from reputable breeder hoping for showing qualities. Meeshka met all of our expectations and more. He became a Double Grand Champion with

The thrill of having a winning and exceptional cat at Cat Shows was exuberating, however because Meeshka is altered we cannot continue his glory through breeding. We decided instead to start our very own unique Scottish Fold cattery. After long diligent research, we fell in love with all types of golden Scottish Folds and began to breed. Our breeding cats have impeccable hereditary pedigree and we strive to produce healthy, well tempered joyful kittens with show quality attributes. We only breed exquisite golden Scottish Fold and Straights with huge eyes.
Our cattery, Aureum Feles is small. Not only do our cats roam freely about the house, making idyllic homey atmosphere, they are also socialized with our two dogs and six grandchildren.
